Brent Galen Adkins (they/them) is a Philadelphia-based artist whose work explores intimacy, presence, and connection. Their imagery is rooted in fleeting gestures, quiet expressions, and the subtle visual languages that shape how we relate to one another.
Their current work centers on documenting queer nightlife and creating collaborative portraits of the community members who nurture these spaces. Together, these images form a tender, layered record of the joy, kinship, and resilience that sustain queer community.
Adkins holds a B.F.A. in Studio Art from Rowan University and has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including shows at Icebox Project Space, Practice Gallery, and Copenhagen Photo Festival.
They are available for commissions or collaborations. Reach out for photography work, prints, or creative assistance.
